These terms apply to anyone commissioning a custom rug or painting, purchasing materials, or enrolling in a course through GraphicAffairs ("we", "us", "our"), run by Najma, based in London.
By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Custom Commissions

- All rugs and paintings are made to order and handcrafted — no two pieces are identical, and slight variations from references or mockups are normal and expected.
- A commission begins once we've agreed on design, size, price, and timeline, and a deposit has been received.
- Deposit: a non-refundable deposit of [e.g. 50%] is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due before the piece is shipped or collected.
- Timeline: custom rugs typically take 3–6 weeks; paintings 1–3 weeks, depending on size and complexity. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may shift due to material availability or order volume — we'll keep you updated.
- Changes: design changes requested after work has started may affect price and timeline.
Cancellations & Refunds

- Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, as materials and time are committed at that point.
- If you cancel before work begins, we'll discuss a partial refund of your deposit, minus any costs already incurred.
- Finished, made-to-order pieces are non-refundable except in cases of damage or fault on our part (see Section 4).
- Shop items (tools, materials, kits) may be returned unused and in original packaging within 14 days, in line with UK consumer law. Buyer covers return postage unless the item is faulty.

- Prices are listed in GBP and may change without notice for future orders (your agreed price is locked in once your deposit is paid).
- Payment is accepted via [your payment method(s)].
- Shipping costs for shop items are calculated at checkout.
